Help Christiaan Take His Next Step Towards Recovery
Christiaan Smith is a devoted partner to Aneeqah, a loving father of two young children, an entrepreneur and a committed member of the Hout Bay community.
Following a serious car accident, Christiaan’s life changed in an instant.
He has shown great improvement. He is responsive, follows instructions, communicates using a few words, moves his arms and legs, sits up and can eat independently.
These improvements give us hope, but Christiaan’s recovery journey is far from over.
What Christiaan Needs Now
The most important next step is consistent, dedicated rehabilitation.
Following his care at Groote Schuur Hospital, the family’s goal is to secure a place for Christiaan in a private step-down rehabilitation facility where he can receive daily, coordinated support in a calm and structured environment.
His rehabilitation needs include:
