The Traumatic Incident

On Tuesday, May 27, 2025, our beloved family members—an elderly couple living on their farm near Brits, South Africa—became victims of a horrific farm attack. The man, who is wheelchair-bound, and his partner were awakened at 2:00 AM when intruders broke into their home. The attackers bound them, severely beat them with an antique iron, and stole several of their possessions, leaving them traumatized and injured.

This attack was not random. It appears to have been methodically planned. On May 21st, just days before the home invasion, their guard dogs were poisoned, and the tires were stolen from their only vehicle, effectively isolating them and preventing any means of escape or reaching help.

These elderly victims are without medical aid and insurance, making their recovery especially challenging. The attack has left them not only physically injured but deeply traumatized and afraid in their own home.
