When a woman experiences gender-based violence, the impact rarely ends with her.

Behind her may be children whose entire world has suddenly changed, children facing trauma, hunger, disrupted schooling and an uncertain future.

For the past six years, Phedishano Sisonke Foundation (PSF) has stood alongside women and families affected by gender-based violence and femicide, providing practical support including food, dignity packs, referrals to safe shelter and access to counselling.

But recovery doesn't happen in a day.

A survivor may need somewhere safe tonight, but she also needs support as she rebuilds her life tomorrow. A child may need a school uniform today, but they may need counselling, stability and encouragement for months to come.

That is why we are building a community of monthly supporters who choose to stand with survivors and their children for the journey ahead.
