About This Campaign
My name is Jo-Ane, I am a 19-year-old from Port Nolloth, a small community where opportunities are limited but dreams are big.
From a young age, I discovered a deep love for working with children. I have a natural passion for caring, listening, guiding, and protecting young lives. Children deserve safe spaces, understanding, and someone who believes in them — and I want to be that person.
I have been accepted to study a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work at Hugenote Kollege. This opportunity means everything to me. It is not just about getting a qualification — it is about becoming a voice for children, families, and communities who often feel unheard.
However, I am facing a challenge. I need R15,000 to cover my registration fee, and without it, I cannot secure my place for 2026. Coming from a humble background, raising this amount alone is not possible for me.
That is why I am starting this campaign — with faith, hope, and courage — asking for support to help me take this important step toward my future.
