At Panthera Africa Big Cat Sanctuary, we are dedicated to providing our rescued big cats with the highest level of veterinary care and ensuring they live their lives in peace and dignity. As an ethical sanctuary, we do not engage in breeding, trading, or human interaction, and our focus is solely on the well-being of the animals who have suffered so much before arriving here.

Over the past year, several of our beloved pride members have faced critical health challenges that required urgent and costly medical interventions. The total veterinary bill for this past year alone has exceeded R200,000, and as our pride members grow older, these costs are increasing.

Caring for these incredible animals requires not only love and dedication but also significant financial resources. Each case represents a commitment we’ve made to give them the quality of life they deserve after enduring lives of suffering and exploitation. But we can’t do it alone.
