We would like to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported, prayed for, encouraged, and stood by us during Sanet's cancer journey.
We are incredibly grateful to share that Sanet has successfully completed her chemotherapy treatments. While this is a major milestone, her journey is not over yet. She is now preparing for her upcoming operation and will continue receiving HER2-targeted treatment for the foreseeable future.
Unfortunately, the HER2 injections she requires every 21 days cost approximately R10,000 per treatment and are not covered by our medical aid. In addition, our oncology benefit is being depleted rapidly, leaving us facing significant medical expenses in the months ahead.
We are therefore reaching out once again for assistance through our BackaBuddy campaign. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us continue providing Sanet with the treatment she needs and deserves.
