Support Ulandi on her MS Journey

DIAGNOSIS
Ulandi Jordaan is a Queenstown local, wife of Queen’s College Old Boy Terance (class of 1996) and mom to two boys, Joshua (19) and Dylan (22). She was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 16 years ago in 2010.

Since her diagnosis, her condition has progressively worsened and has resulted in severe neuromuscular weakness, loss of independent mobility (she is now wheelchair-dependent), chronic urinary and bowel incontinence as well as increasing dependence on assistive devices and caregiver support.

Despite these challenges, Ulandi has continued to show resilience, adapting her life around her condition.

A MEDICAL SET-BACK
In September 2025, Ulandi suffered a major medical setback - due to her prolonged immobility, she developed a severe pressure injury over the sacral area. A pressure injury of this kind is a known and serious complication in patients like Ulandi.
