The conditions for dreaming are set and achieved collectively, but not effortlessly. As authoritarianism mounts around the globe and division threatens us all, it is more important than ever that dreamers are resourced. The Community Art Mobilisation Project (CAMP) is this place for gathering: a “soft space for hard questions” where artists, activists, and frontline communities come into relationship, to tell their own stories, and make art that shifts us into action.  

We are caretakers and troublemakers, problem-solvers working within a lineage of cultural workers who understood art as a weapon of struggle, and as medicine. Our desire is to help give that idea a home using collective making, public art, media intervention, and the everyday infrastructure of care that lets communities in struggle metabolise their complicated socio-political experiences through communal creative practices.
