We’re reaching out with a heartfelt invitation to be part of something truly meaningful: The revitalisation of
Swallow Park, a green jewel in the very heart of Hermanus.
Led by Trevor Edwards and supported by the Hermanus Business Chamber, our concept; The Art of
Fynbos; aims to restore this beloved space as a vibrant, community-rooted destination. Through
indigenous planting, creative landscaping, heritage revival, and local artistic collaboration, Swallow Park
will once again become part of the living fabric of what makes Hermanus truly unique: Whales, Art, and
Fynbos. From the outset, the project team has generously donated their time, expertise, and professional
services to get this initiative off the ground; a reflection of the deep local belief in its importance and
potential.
Nestled between Gearings Point and Fick’s Pool, this revitalisation will help “close the loop”, connecting
key parts of the CBD precinct and creating a seamless, walkable experience that honours both natural
beauty and cultural legacy.
