Hi there!
Sylvester was involved in a car accident in October 2021. He sustained C6/C7 fracture to the spine which caused him to be diagnosed with incomplete Quadriplegia. Today, he is living Mahushu, Hazyview with his wife and 3 children, adapting and adjusting to a new way of living. He is unfortunately unable to return to his previous work as truck driver and is turning his focus to quality of life and setting new goals.
My name is Yenke. I have the privilege of being Sylvester's Occupational Therapist and supporting him as he tries to navigate through this new and uncertain journey.
We have explored numerous pathways, set many therapy goals and achieved them over the past year and a bit of weekly therapy. Next on the list is LETS GET SYLVESTER DRIVING AGAIN!
