As a person actively involved in education in South Africa, I know the value of investment in this critical sector - especially in rural areas.
Taetso - whose tertiary education has been financially supported for many years by a person I know - needs to overcome a final hurdle to enable her to contribute in a meaningful way to rural education in South Africa.
She has successfully completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) but she has outstanding fees of R27,000 from the institution she did it at. Her financial statement, showing her outstanding fees, has been lodgde with BackaBudddy in support of this appeal. If we collectively pay this on her behalf, it will immediately enable her to get a teaching position.
