Team Tanya

Tanya Read is a wonderful and inspirational woman who has always put other’s needs before her own.

She works two jobs to support and educate her amazing, gifted teenage children. She has in the past volunteered at a soup kitchen, and currently coordinates the outreach activities at her daughter's school, which involves sacrificing most of her weekends serving various good causes, including volunteering at a children’s home serving vulnerable children and at an animal shelter.

Tanya has experienced her fair share of difficulties, facing a serious, life-threatening condition as a young woman. She has always overcome these difficulties with grace and courage and against considerable odds, in the process inspiring those closest to her.

A few months ago, Tanya was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer and has once again risen to the challenge in her determination to regain her health. Unfortunately, the earnings from Tanya's two part-time jobs are not enough to cover medical aid, and at first Tanya was reliant on the state healthcare system to do the diagnost...
