At just 5 years old, Tariq began his battle with leukemia—a journey marked by unimaginable strength, courage, and resilience. Despite facing countless obstacles and setbacks, Tariq never lost his fighting spirit or infectious smile.

For 11 years, Tariq fought valiantly against leukemia, undergoing numerous rounds of chemotherapy and even a bone marrow transplant from his loving sister, who was a perfect match. Sadly, despite their hopes and prayers, the transplant failed, and Tariq's battle with leukemia persisted.

Throughout his journey, Tariq faced multiple relapses, with three occurring during the sacred month of Ramadaan—a time of reflection, prayer, and spiritual renewal. Despite the challenges, Tariq remained steadfast in his faith and determination to overcome.

As his condition worsened, Tariq's family reached out to the Kids-Can Cancer Foundation for support, requesting a wheelchair to ease his mobility. Touched by their resilience and unwavering love for Tariq, we knew we had to do more to help this family in their time of need.
