Representing SA in Ireland 🏉
Tasha's hard work and dedication to Touch Rugby paid off when she had been selected to represent South Africa in the Atlantic Youth Cup in Ireland in July 2025.
Tasha's Touch Rugby journey began in 2022 when she played for the U17A KZN team. Her passion and natural talent for the sport quickly earned her a spot in the U17B and U21A KZN team in 2023. In 2024, she continued to impress, playing for both the U19A and U21A KZN team, where she was also the Most Valuable Player for the U21 division. In 2024, she was awarded Senior Touch Rugby Player of the year during sports awards evening held at her school. Tasha is also going in March 2025 to represent KZN in Gauteng playing in the U21 division for the Senior Interprovincial Tournament.
Throughout her journey, Tasha's love for Touch Rugby has only grown stronger. "The speed, agility, and strategy required make it an exhilarating sport to play, and I love every minute being on the field”.
