TEAM GAUTENG GOING FOR GOLD

In July 2026, Gauteng will host the Volleyball South Africa Inter-Provincial Tournament, the most prestigious volleyball competition in the country. This year is especially significant because both Junior and Senior divisions will compete, meaning Gauteng must prepare four teams to represent the province.

For our athletes, wearing the Gauteng colours is the reward for years of dedication, training, and sacrifice. Many of these players balance school, work, and personal commitments while pursuing their passion for volleyball.

But preparing and supporting Team Gauteng comes with significant costs, including training venues, equipment, playing kit, accommodation, transport, and meals. As a provincial union, we want to support our players as much as possible, but the financial burden is substantial.
