TERRY - BREAST CANCER

My best friend was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer late last year.  

She has undergone 5 months of extensive chemotherapy and has really battled with the side effects but has kept going and has tried to keep strong. 

We are at the stage now where she has to undergo surgery.  We are pushing for a double mastectomy because the chance of it spreading to her other breast is high.  However, her medical aid will not cover this, and she is already drowning in medical bills and battling financially as she has not been able to work as much as before due to the chemo treatments.

Furthermore, she will not be able to work for a minimum of 6 weeks after surgery. She will also be doing radiation thereafter.

Terry is a hairdresser and unfortunately, since Covid days, she has been struggling financially.  She has a daughter who is 13 years old.  Terry is a bubbly person and people just fall in love with her when they meet her.

She is in a very serious time of need.  ...
