Tersia's Hip Hip Hooray

All of you reading this knows the girl with the brave face, the unwavering smile and the never say die attitude and that iconic penguin wobble in her step. This brave women is my sister, and she's been on a hip-hop-op-not-so-joy-ride for the last couple of months. 

Why does she have a penguin wobble? Tersia was born with hip dysplasia that remained undiagnosed until she sustained an injury in the gym in 2022.  Her X-rays revealed a labrum tear and partially dislocated hip joint. The operation that was supposed to buy her time and bring relief unfortunately did more irreparable damage to the extent that she can't walk without crutches and has chronic pain. At the time she was told that hip replacement surgery was inevitable, but that she was too young.

Desperation sent her to the rooms of Dr Cakic for a second opinion - he is a renowned, no holds barred orthopedic surgeon and has taken Tersia through the extent of her hip damage.
