Tertiary Education Fees

Hi, I'm Gabathuse Onthatile Ntlhane (22), and I am a Type 1 Diabetic who loves music. I was diagnosed with type 1 in 2024, and that has been a life changer for me on a day to day living aspect. The cost of managing type 1 diabetes is high and there aren't enough support systems in South Africa to help with that. I am very passionate about music and pursued a sound technology course at Oakfield's College, which I came to learn 2 weeks in that I would not be able to afford. I am currently facing suspension from my studies due to fees that have not been paid. Managing T1D and trying to get tertiary education has imposed a heavy burden on my grandmother where I'm not the only child she needs to care for. The financial situation at home wasn't necessarily the best prior to my diagnosis, and post the diagnosis it turned everything upside down.
I might change institutions seeing as I am falling behind by the day which could cost me more than it's already costing me, but I will be studying the same course which runs at around the 90 000 ballpark.
