To everyone who knows and loves Thandeka, and even if you don't know her personally, thank you for reading this.
Thandeka's house has been without electricity for many months due to stolen cables and it has been awful, especially as she has two young children in her care.
After campaigning really hard to get the issue resolved with Eskom, the power was finally put back on this weekend which was supposed to be a big moment of celebration and release. Sadly, with the power restored, we discovered that most of Thandeka's appliances have burned because of the issue.
Please kindly consider helping us to raise funds for a new fridge, stove, microwave and tv so that Thandeka and her family can enjoy a peaceful Christmas.
