I grew up in a small rural town in the Eastern Cape. I was fascinated by technology. 

But I had no access to computers or digital skills training.

I dreamed of a future in tech. But it felt completely out of my reach.
University was never an option. At the time, it felt like the world was passing me by.
But my life changed forever when I was given the opportunity to join a tech bootcamp. For the first time, I realised I didn’t lack talent or potential. 

I simply lacked access.

As I learned and grew, I realised something. My story wasn't unique.Across South Africa, thousands of girls and young women have the curiosity, talent and determination to thrive in technology. They want to thrive in a technology career. But are locked out. They cannot discover what they can achieve.

Not because they lack potential. Because they lack access.
