That question was never about money. Once a species disappears, no amount of money can bring it back.

It is a question the EWT has spent more than five decades answering through action. For Africa’s Lions, Cheetahs and African Wild Dogs, that action remains as urgent as ever.

For a Lioness caught in a snare, every struggle pulls the wire tighter. She is frightened, in pain and unable to return to the cubs waiting for her.

For a Cheetah, the open land she needs to run, hunt and raise her young is shrinking. Each road, fence and fragment of lost habitat closes another path to survival.

When an African Wild Dog does not return, the whole pack feels the loss. They depend on one another to hunt, protect their pups and survive. They call for the one that is missing.
