The Gathering Church started in December 2012. They started meeting at flea markets and in mall coffee shops with the intention of ministering to those outside of the 4 walls of a building. “We are the church and so we would bring church to the people, however as we grew it became necessary to have a meeting place and so we moved into a lounge for a season before renting the hall at Rietvlei zoo farm. We were blessed to be able to buy the building we are currently in on Rietvlei zoo farm.”

Thank you deeply for your overwhelming love and support. Your kindness means the world to us. We are heartbroken to share that our church building was completely destroyed by a fire on Thursday 11th July. We know this is a shock, but remember, God’s got us. Our faith and community are strong. We’re working on sorting things out. Your support and prayers mean the world to us. Together, we’ll rebuild.
