The Gem Project Sanctuary Kennel Campaign

The Gem Project Sanctuary is launching it’s Community Kennel Project - a community-driven initiative aimed at providing safe, weather-resistant kennels for dogs in vulnerable communities across Cape Town.

Through this campaign, we hope to provide warmth, protection, and comfort to animals who need it most. 

This pilot project brings together our in-house maintenance team, local youth apprentices, and volunteers to build kennels that will keep vulnerable community animals warm, dry, and protected during the colder months — while also creating opportunities for skills development and community involvement.

How you can help: Sponsor a full kennel package:

R2000 — Large kennel package including food, a foam bed, and blanket for one dog.

R1800 — Medium kennel package including food, a foam bed, and blanket for one dog.

Each sponsored kennel provides a dog with safe shelter, warmth, and comfort throughout winter.
