About the Campaign

​My name is Jonathan Ntutu, and for the past 20 years, I have had the privilege of representing South Africa on the global stage as a visually impaired T12 100m sprinter. Through two decades of dedication, I have proudly brought home medals, broken barriers, and flown our flag high at the highest levels of international sport.

​Today, I am facing one of the toughest challenges of my athletic career: I am entirely self-funded.

​Despite 20 years of continuous service and world-class results for South Africa, I currently receive no financial backing from government bodies, national federations, or sports committees. Every flight, entry fee, accommodation, and training expense falls solely on my shoulders.

​I am not ready to step off the track. My sight is set on the 2027 World Para Athletics Championships and reaching the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games. But to qualify and stay competitive against the world's best, I must race on the international circuit.
