The Inam Autism Advocacy Group was established to advocate for autistic people in South Africa, focusing on children and
young people. Our goal is to raise funds for autism research within a South African context on the prevalence of autism.
We believe that this research will go a long way in partnering with the government, schools and medical aids to provide
support and accessible services to the autistic community and their families in South Africa.
Through our various interactions and training within communities in the country, we have identified the need for a tool that can serve as an information resource and support group platform in the form of an app. The app aims to provide a centralized source of information, resources on autism and a support group platform.
