An invitation to support the work, the person and the life behind it.

For over twenty years, I’ve made a living from ideas that became businesses, illustrations, stories and products. Some failed spectacularly, though I prefer to call those opportunities to learn.

I'm Jayne Lea, a graphic designer by trade since 2000 and, since 2017, an independent creative, writer, illustrator and small business owner in the Overberg, Western Cape, South Africa. I'm also a single mother raising a teenage son, responsible for running a household, paying bills and keeping food in the fridge.

It’s rewarding, sometimes financially terrifying and rarely predictable. But it’s the life I’ve chosen.
