The Community Response Bakkie: Help LifeFirst Get There Faster

This week, LifeFirst and Frontier Fire Assist volunteers were knee-deep in mud, rain, and floodwater, helping local communities pack and move sandbags and digging trenches during severe weather in Port Alfred and surrounding areas.

The volunteers showed up.
The community showed up.

But one thing became painfully clear:
We urgently need a proper 4x4 response vehicle.

At the moment, much of what we do relies on personal vehicles, borrowed trailers, and a whole lot of South African “maak ’n plan”.

And yet despite this, LifeFirst continues to grow into something far bigger than we ever imagined.

LifeFirst started in 2014 with one simple goal: teaching ordinary people how to save lives.
