Sport4Kids

Sport has always been a big part of my life. Growing up, I was fortunate — my parents could afford the equipment, the coaching, the lifts to practices and matches. But over the years, I began to realise just how many kids in my own community didn’t have that same opportunity.

In 2000, I started my sports tour business in Cape Town, Cape Africa Tours. It gave me a front-row seat to the inequality in access to sport. I saw children with raw talent, energy, and dreams — but no equipment, no coaching, and often no way to even get to a match.

That’s when sport4Kids was born, back in 2006. I wanted to change that reality, even in a small way. Since then, we’ve helped schools, clubs, and hundreds of young individuals get access to coaching, kit, and the joy of competition.

One of our proudest moments came in 2016, when Westminster Under School in London helped us buy a 14-seater Toyota Quantum. That vehicle has transported countless kids to practices, tournaments, and events they otherwise would have missed.
