DEVASTING UPDATE: Sadly, Simone did not make it, she passed away late Friday evening, 04 July 2025. May her soul rest in peace, our thoughts and prayers go out to Simone's family, friends and work colleagues.

, On Monday afternoon, 23 June 2025, a tragic accident took place on the M13 highway between Kloof and Gillitts in the Upper Highway area, Kwazulu-Natal. Pratiksha and Simone were chatting and laughing as they walked home from work when they were struck by a vehicle. The highway was closed for several hours whilst the relevant medical teams, first responders, family and work colleagues attended to the scene. Simone was stabilized and airlifted to hospital in critical condition, where she remains in ICU with life threatening injuries. Sadly, Pratiksha did not make it and was declared deceased at the scene.
