Thea Hip Replacement Surgery

My friend Thea was involved in a motorbike accident on Sunday 20 September 2020. While on the bike ride in the pass by Sabie, Mpumalanga the bike slid on the road and I was flung approximately 30 meters on the ground.  The skin on my leg was torn off during the bike accident as well as the skin on my arms.  I do not have a medical aid and the friend that I was riding on the bike with paid for my admission in cash to the Mediclinic. I was taken to theatre on the Tuesday for the wounds on my legs to be cleaned, after which I still had to go to theatre for a further 7 operations due to the wounds becoming septic.  I was also in a semi-coma due to the sepsis in my body.  I was busy with recovery but all did not go to plan and an ambulance came and took me to the hospital where an Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr A B Schoeman had me immediately admitted and taken back to theatre to clean the wounds on my leg.
