Our lives changed in an instant when my husband, Tinus, suffered a severe stroke.

Tinus is more than just a husband and father—he is the heart of our family and our sole breadwinner. Overnight, everything we knew was turned upside down. While we are grateful that he survived, the journey ahead is long, challenging, and one we cannot face alone.

To give Tinus the best possible chance of regaining his independence, he urgently needs intensive rehabilitation through private medical care. This includes specialist doctors, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and ongoing nursing support. Early, consistent rehabilitation offers the greatest hope of helping stroke survivors recover movement, communication, and the ability to care for themselves again.
