Tinyiko is a final year medical student at Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University. She is one of the students who were defunded by NSFAS in 2023 and needs to pay a minimum amount of R80 000 out of her outstanding debt of R182 221 to be able to register for the 2024 academic year. She is currently financially excluded until she pays the minimum required amount.
