About This Campaign
My name is Toni Mould, 42yrs and I am a South African paracyclist. I have a disability called Cerebral Palsy caused by complications during the birth process. My CP affects my balance, speech, and all my motor skills.
I have competed in 7 World Cups in the last 10 years (2 in SA, 3 in Belgium and 2 in Italy) and 3 World Championships (SA, Italy and the Netherlands). I have several National Championship titles and one World Champs silver medal from 2017. In 2021 I achieved a lifelong dream of going to the Paralympics (Tokyo 2020). I finished 10th in the Time Trial and 8th in the road race.
In 2024 after taking part in the Western Cape TT Champs, the South African Road and TT Champs, the Cape Town Cycle Tour’s 42km, and 2 European World Cups I took time away from cycling because I had injuries that weren’t healing and an big increase in pain. Working with my medical team we now have most of it under control and the rest we just need to continue to treat as chronic pain due to my Cerebral Palsy.
