Genelle van der Riet from Port Elizabeth is an Ironman triathlete. In 2012, she made one of the most life changing decisions of her life when she entered the ironman 70.3 competition and she instantly became hooked. The Ironman series was a different league all together!
In 2024 she has decided to dedicate her participation in the Half Ironman marathon to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation of South Africa to generate awareness and donations.
