Transportation Support

The Housing Assembly is a grassroots movement fighting for housing justice across more than 20 communities in the Western Cape. Our ability to mobilize, train, and support communities is severely limited by unreliable transportation. Without dependable transport, it’s difficult to hold meetings, conduct site visits, respond to urgent issues, or move staff and materials to where they’re needed most.

We are raising funds to secure a reliable vehicle and cover essential operational costs like fuel, insurance, and maintenance. Improved mobility will allow our team and peer educators to expand their reach, support more community leaders, and strengthen connections between settlements.
