To every sponsor, donor, and supporter who stood beside Tyler during our previous BackaBuddy campaign — Because of you, were able to cover Tyler’s medical costs and daily medication for the past four months. Tyler was able to undergo extensive blood tests, X-rays, and attend critical appointments with her surgeon and endocrinologist. These investigations brought clarity — but also the sobering reality that Tyler’s medical journey is far longer, more complex, and far more costly than we initially understood.

Tyler was born 1 month premature, weighing just 1.75 kg.  Almost immediately, she was diagnosed with Disorder of Sex Development (DSD) — a condition where a child’s chromosomes, hormones, or reproductive anatomy develop differently from typical male or female patterns.
