Welcome to the Tzaneen Emergency Support Team's BackaBuddy page! Our organization was founded on the principles of community-driven response to the evolving challenges faced by our region. We recognized the resource gaps within the District and Municipal Fire and Rescue services and knew that government services alone could not always bridge these gaps. Large-scale events, such as natural disasters like wildfires, can quickly overwhelm available resources, which is why we were created to fill these critical manpower gaps.

Timely response to emergencies is crucial for minimizing damage and saving lives, which is why the Tzaneen Emergency Support Team was established to ensure that prompt, efficient, and effective response is always within reach.
