Hi everyone,
My name is Bianca, and I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my husband, Jacques — the love of my life, father to Charnè and the strongest person we know.
Jacques was recently diagnosed with high-grade bladder cancer and kidney cancer, a diagnosis that turned our entire world upside down. Two cancer at the same time that is not even related. What started as a medical concern quickly became a life-changing battle that we are now fighting together as a family.
Following his initial bladder surgery, Jacques developed a serious complication — Klebsiella septicaemia — which weakened his body and made his recovery even more difficult. Watching him go through this has been incredibly traumatic for all of us, but despite everything, he continues to fight with strength and courage.
