Please Help Vinsan Get the Emergency Surgery He Needs

Vinsan Smith is just 18 years old and is currently facing a life-threatening medical emergency.

Two days ago, Vinsan began experiencing severe stomach pain. He was taken to a GP, diagnosed with a stomach bug and sent home. Unfortunately, his condition continued to deteriorate, and today he was rushed to hospital.

Scans confirmed that his appendix had ruptured, with doctors believing it happened approximately two days earlier. He is now suffering from infection and severe pain, with the risk of sepsis and further complications making his condition extremely serious.

The private hospital has quoted approximately R178,000 for the emergency operation, hospital admission and ICU care.

The hospital and treating doctor have contacted surrounding government hospitals in an attempt to transfer him, but unfortunately, no space has been available so far. As time passes, his condition is becoming increasingly critical.
