Walking for Healing: A Journey of Resilience and Hope
My name is Daniel Weclaw, I am 43 years old, from Cape Town and I am a survivor of child sexual abuse. For years, I carried the weight of shame, silence, and fear. But I have chosen to transform my pain into purpose.
February 2025, I embark on an extraordinary journey, walking around the entire coast of South Africa, from Alexander Bay to St Lucia. This 3,000 km journey is not just a physical challenge; it's a symbol of my resilience, a testament to the human spirit's capacity to heal and overcome. I would like to send a message to every other survivor that taking back your life is possible and giving the strength, hope and courage to overcome the trauma.
