Aquamotion is more than just a swim school — it’s a safe space where children, including autistic swimmers, build confidence, find joy, and experience freedom in the water.

For many of these children, swimming is not just an activity — it’s therapy. It helps with sensory regulation, movement, confidence, and connection in ways few other environments can.

We are currently building our mini water polo where we teach skills in a fun learning environment. We also cater for adults with learn to swim lessons, a vital and much needed skill in our community. Over and above all of that we also hold aqua lessons which is fundamental to keeping our older community active and mobile. 

But right now, all of that is at risk.

We currently rent an outdoor pool in East London. While it works beautifully in summer, winter forces us to shut down completely for several months. This means our autistic swimmers lose access to a space that plays a vital role in their development and well-being as well as all the other activities coming to a stop that take place
