Helpende Handjies is a very special place where children receive a warm meal every day, love, care, and a safe place to feel at home.
The house where this incredible work takes place is now for sale, and we would love to help Wilma raise enough funds to buy the home so that she can continue the wonderful work she does for so many children and families.
Every day, Wilma helps between 100 and 200 children by providing food and support. Around 20 children also live there, where they have a safe and caring environment.
Every winter, Helpende Handjies runs a winter project where they provide food to families and people in need, and they also give clothing to those who need it.
I have known Wilma for some time, and I can honestly say that she has a heart of gold. She goes above and beyond to help others and gives so much of herself to make a difference in the lives of children and families.
