At Owl Rescue Centre, we don’t believe "too far away" should be a reason a life is lost. From the Kalahari to the coast, we provide a lifeline to wildlife in the most remote corners of South Africa. But right now, we are limited by the speed and capacity of our current aircraft.

We are grounded by distance. We need your help to take flight.

Why a New Aircraft?

Every minute spent in transit is a minute an injured animal is without critical care. We have found a 1970 CESSNA 177 CARDINAL that will work perfectly for what we need.

A bigger, faster wildlife rescue aircraft will be a game-changer for South African conservation:

We will reach remote emergencies in a fraction of the time, dramatically increasing survival rates through rapid intervention.

The new aircraft will be large enough to transport bigger animals, wildlife rescue equipment, and our full expert crew, including our wildlife tracking K9's for complex field projects.

Increased speed means we can attend to multiple rescues across vast areas in a single day.
