Winter Shoe Drive for the Gatjie Kids ❤️

This winter, we’re supporting a community that’s close to our hearts, the Gatjie, a beautiful group of under-resourced families we’ve had the privilege of walking alongside through food drives, school supply donations, and Christmas and Easter celebrations.

On Sunday, 3 August, we’ll be providing warm meals and doing a shoe drop for nearly 200 children to ensure they have dry, comfortable shoes to get through the chilly Cape Town winter. Thanks to a generous donation, we’ve already secured some brand-new Adidas sneakers, but we’re still 108 pairs short, across a wide range of sizes.

For many of these children, this will be the only new pair of shoes they receive all year. Something so small can mean everything - dignity, comfort, and a little boost of confidence.
