At West Rand School, our learners teach us every single day that movement looks different for everyone - but effort, courage and determination are universal.
As Chairperson, with the support of my fellow SGB governors, I have committed to running throughout the year to help raise funds for an urgent school roof project. Each kilometre I run represents hope, leadership and belief in our learners.
Funds raised through this BackaBuddy campaign will go directly towards repairing our school roof, helping us provide a safe, dry and dignified learning environment for our learners.
This journey will continue throughout the year and will culminate in an inclusive Term 4 fundraiser where our entire school community will come together to celebrate movement, unity and hope.
