Xander Snyman - Medical Costs

Dear Family, Friends, and Community,

We are reaching out with heavy hearts to share that Xander Snyman, a 16-year-old avid rugby player and active young man, will be admitted to Midmed Hospital tomorrow, 20 January 2026, for urgent surgery.

Xander has developed a serious infection in his right foot, caused by an abscess that has progressed to sepsis. As part of his treatment, the doctors will need to remove a portion of the infected bone. This process begins tomorrow, and he is expected to remain in isolation for approximately eight days, during which he will undergo at least three surgeries.

The medical costs have already reached R185,037.33, and unfortunately, these expenses may continue to increase. This situation has placed immense financial strain on Xander and our family.

We humbly ask for any assistance you may be able to offer. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward his medical care, surgeries, and recovery. Your support would mean more to us than words can express.
