I am a mother, fundraising to support my daughter's journey to an international tournament in USA for the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC). What is FTC? FTC is a competition in which a group of students build a robot to undergo different challenges making use of STEM skills including engineering and coding the robot by themselves. FTC is a fun way for students to interact with STEM. STEM is at the heart of FTC & an essential skill for young people to develop as modern-day society revolves around this topic. It is a HUGE opportunity for her as she aspires to be a MECHATRONICS ENGINEER.
