Meet Max and Poppy
Two innocent puppy brothers, Max and Poppy, were rescued after being abandoned behind
a warehouse. Sadly, both were diagnosed with the highly contagious and life-threatening
Parvovirus. Max was admitted to the veterinary hospital first, and just three days later, Poppy
had to be hospitalized with the same devastating illness.
Parvovirus is not only aggressive but also extremely costly to treat. It severely damages a
dog’s bone marrow and intestinal lining, causing intense vomiting, bloody diarrhea, immune
system failure, dehydration, and in many cases, sepsis. Without urgent and continuous
veterinary care, survival is unlikely.
The reality is heartbreaking—the veterinary bills are overwhelming and continue to
accumulate daily as both Max and Poppy undergo treatment, hospitalization, and
medication.
