Zipho's Journey to A Capella Academy 2026

My name is Zipho Dzanibe, and I come from Durban, South Africa. Music has never just been something I do — it is who I am. It is how I express my gratitude, my faith, my joy, and even my struggles. It is the language through which I feel closest to God, and the gift I believe He has entrusted me with.

I had the incredible privilege of attending the Drakensberg Boys Choir School, an experience that shaped not only my musicianship but my discipline, character, and love for excellence. Being surrounded by world-class music at such a young age opened my eyes to what is possible when talent is nurtured with dedication and faith.

I am currently on a music scholarship at Hilton College, where I continue to grow both academically and musically. Every opportunity I have received, I see not as something I achieved alone, but as God’s grace working through me.
