I hope this message finds you well. We the parents are reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and a desperate plea for help. Our beloved child Zita Singh, who is 13-years-old with an infectious smile and personality larger than life is facing a rare life-threatening medical emergency and has been fighting for her life for the past 13 days.

Zita has been diagnosed with anti-MNDA encephalitis a critical medical condition which requires immediate and costly medical drugs brought on by Viral and bacterial meningitis, which medical aid does not cover.

The initial treatment costs about R225 000 excluding bloods, scans and doctors. Therafter R25 000 per month for 6 months is required.  As you can imagine, this unexpected turn of events has placed an immense emotional and financial burden on our family.
